Pastor Brenda Stevenson
For 35 years, Pastor Brenda Stevenson and New Outreach Ministries has followed Jesus’s admonition, “Feed my sheep!” Located in Charlotte NC’s Hoskins neighborhood on the West side, the ministry’s doors are open with food, programs, and Christian ministry twice a week and on every major holiday.
New Outreach is a 501(c)3 organization, eligible for tax-deductible donations. Donations and volunteers are gladly welcomed.

Christmas morning opened bright and early for volunteers at New Outreach Ministries, who prepared over 1,300 meals plus gifts for the children of attendees who might otherwise not have had anything to celebrate this year.
Everyone who attended went home with a hot meal, groceries, gifts for the children in their home, and the blessing of music and ministry.

From her wheelchair, fresh out of the hospital, Pastor Stevenson organized and delivered a Thanksgiving meal for more than 1,000 people. Many doubted whether the meal would take place this year, after the pastor’s foot developed an infection that led to an amputation in October, but thanks to the dedication of the congregation, Pastor Stevenson’s own determination, and the help of the community, we pulled it off. Thanks to everyone who made this possible!
